You’ll be accountable for the performance and reliability of machinery through preventative and predictive maintenance strategies. This hands-on role is central to our ambition of zero breakdowns and zero stops, and will contribute to both short-term performance and long-term asset development.## **What You Will Do*** **Maintenance Leadership**: Manage and plan mechanical work on site, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and legal standards* **Technical Support**: Coach and support operational colleagues in resolving mechanical issues and improving machine reliability* **Performance Management**: Own mechanical maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement to meet departmental objectives* **System Oversight**: Manage mechanical work through SAP (CMMS), ensuring accurate planning, execution, and documentation* **Contractor Management**: Oversee mechanical contractors and uphold high standards of work, including quality audits and commissioning* **Team Development**: Lead and mentor junior technicians, fostering skill development and capability growth* **Workshop Excellence**: Maintain workshop standards and ensure permit control and health & safety adherence## **Who You Are*** Completed a recognised multi-skilled or mechanical engineering apprenticeship, ideally with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3* Proven mechanical experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or process environments* Strong troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining complex automated manufacturing systems, including large rotating equipment and hydraulics* Skilled in planning, mentoring, and problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines* Experience using SAP for maintenance planning and execution## **What We Can Offer You**Our purpose, *Breaking Barriers to Well-being*, provides meaning to everything we do.
