Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager
As a Supplier Quality Manager, you\’ll be part of the global procurement organization, ensuring supplier performance aligns with Essity\’s Global Supplier Standard (GSS). Your focus will be on Quality, Product Safety, Environment, Chemicals, and Code of Conduct. Responsibilities include conducting audits, negotiating Quality Assurance Agreements, and collaborating with teams across Sourcing, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, and Innovation.
What You Will Do
- Ensure supplier compliance with GSS across Quality, Safety, Environment, and Ethics.
- Conduct supplier audits and negotiate Quality Assurance Agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and follow up on corrective actions (CAPA).
- Lead resolution of quality incidents and ensure proper investigations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing sites to drive performance improvements.
- Work cross-functionally to support total quality and supplier development.
- Support sustainability goals through supplier assessments and ethical compliance.
- Contribute to improving Supplier Quality Management tools and practices.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in Quality or Engineering roles involving supplier or customer collaboration.
- Background in Manufacturing or Supply Chain environments.
- Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, AQL, GMP, and relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, DDS methodologies.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Skilled in MS Office; SAP/Ariba experience is beneficial.
- Experience in auditing for Quality, Process Control, Environment, and Ethics.
- Training in ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14000 is an advantage.
- Capable of managing projects and negotiating effectively.
- Comfortable working with external partners and suppliers.
Additional Information

International experience and a proactive mindset are beneficial. This position is preferably located near our factories in Manchester (UK) or Valls (Spain), with other European locations considered.
