Senior Brand Manager – TENA (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

At Essity, we believe in empowering our people to make an impact. This role offers you the opportunity to take ownership, challenge convention, and shape the future of marketing. Deliver commercial growth and lead brand strategy and activation across the UK & ROI as part of a full‑time, hybrid team based in our Didsbury office (Manchester) with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for key Personal Care brands, aligned to global brand direction.
  • Own the UK & ROI communication plan, working with and managing local agency partners.
  • Manage the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget, ensuring effective allocation and return on investment.
  • Define and optimise product assortment and pricing in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management teams.
  • Contribute to global brand development, ensuring UK & ROI market needs are represented.
  • Build strong relationships across local, regional and global stakeholder groups.
  • Use consumer, market and channel insights (e.g. EPOS and panel data) to inform strategy and decision‑making.
  • Lead the annual business planning process, delivering clear and compelling sales and marketing plans.
  • Drive integrated brand activation across ATL and BTL channels.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members, creating a high‑performing and collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in brand management within FMCG or a fast‑paced consumer environment.
  • Strong experience across retail channels, including grocery, discounters and ecommerce.
  • Experience managing media plans and working with external agencies.
  • Confidence using data (e.g. EPOS, panel) to generate insights and shape strategy.
  • Experience working within matrix, international environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, with the confidence to challenge and drive change.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
  • A collaborative approach, with a focus on delivering results through teamwork.
