We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Trafford Park manufacturing site as we continue to invest, grow and deliver ambitious improvement plans.
As Project Engineer, you’ll take the lead on the set-up, planning and delivery of new projects across the mill following Capex approval. You’ll work closely with external partners and internal teams to bring projects in on time, to scope and within budget. This is a role where you can influence, challenge, innovate and help shape the future direction of the site. What You Will Do
- Lead project management calls and coordinate activities
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation plans
- Oversee quality control and technical delivery
- Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and keep them informed throughout
- Work closely with production teams, suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
Who You Are
- Proven experience managing projects up to £1 million from enquiry through design, implementation and completion within a production environment
- Strong understanding of CDM regulations and ideally a background in civil engineering
- Familiarity with SIL, HAZID, HAZOP and PTW systems
- Experience developing project documentation including Scope of Work, RAMS, ITPs and Risk Registers
- Confident contractor management skills
- Strong IT capability across MS Office, with ideally MS Project, SAP and AutoCAD
- A degree-level engineering qualification and/or a project management qualification
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple projects
- A solutions-focused approach with the confidence to influence and guide decision-making
