We are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our Day Support Team. In this role, you will be a vital part of improving operational efficiency on our production lines. You’ll work alongside a committed team of industry professionals who will support your growth, helping you build confidence and capability to reach your full potential. What You Will Do
- Deliver preventive and predictive maintenance activities aligned with KPIs and standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using DDS methodology and root-cause analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and reduce downtime.
- Coach operators and colleagues on technical issues and maintenance tools such as SAP-PM and SOPs.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, working towards zero breakdowns and zero stops.
- Contribute to cost reduction strategies, including spare parts management.
Who You Are
- A recognised HNC qualification.
- A passion for monitoring machine performance and driving maintenance improvements.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure, make clear decisions, and plan work to tight timelines.
- A proactive attitude and technical aptitude to learn and develop further in the role.
