About the Role
As a Key Account Manager working with the global, market‑leading TENA brand, you will play an important role in achieving sales targets by both winning new business and supporting the retention of existing customers, in line with company goals. You will work closely with clinicians and procurement teams to help them choose the most suitable TENA continence products — ensuring benefits for patients, customers, and Essity. Because much of our business is won through tender processes, experience in tendering is desirable. This is a regional role covering Home Care and Acute across the following areas: Shropshire, Hereford & Worcester, Bristol, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Birmingham, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. This is a full‑time, field‑based, permanent position.
What You Will Do
- Manage both new and existing accounts across your region.
- Understand customer needs and recognise differences across Home Care and Acute.
- Use CRM tools for planning and prioritising accounts.
- Build strong relationships with Decision Making Units (DMUs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Support the delivery and monitoring of Territory Business Plans, including taking action where gaps appear.
- Contribute to the Tender Excellence process for all Care at Home customers.
- Execute marketing campaigns to support sales targets.
- Produce monthly business analysis to identify profitability, opportunities, and risks.
- Lead Business Review meetings and proactively support sales progression.
- Coach and support team members where needed.
Who You Are
- A strong relationship‑builder and communicator.
- Sales‑focused and results‑driven.
- Skilled at planning and organisation.
- A confident presenter and trainer.
- Analytical, with good problem‑solving ability.
- Able to use influencing skills effectively.
- Comfortable drawing on clinical experience (desirable but not essential).
You will need to live within the territory and be able to travel across the region. A full driving licence is required, and occasional overnight stays may be needed.
