About The Role
We are currently seeking a Global Media & Digital Manager (d/f/m) to join our Global Media, Digital and Data department within the Brand Building Team at the earliest possible date. This is a truly global role, supporting the entire Essity business in driving brand and business growth. The position is a temporary, full-time maternity cover (until 31.01.2027) and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, international function.
What You Will Do
- Strategy and Vision Development: Drive the global media strategy in alignment with Essityβs business objectives, category teams, and integrated commerce and retail media strategies.
- Media Tech Stack: Lead innovation, governance, and optimization of the global media tech stack, ensuring effective use of tools to drive measurable results and enhance digital media investment.
- Global Media Partnerships: Support and leverage global partnerships to deliver value and innovation.
- Process Excellence: Lead the annual media process, ensuring relevance, smooth execution and business alignment.
- Media for Growth Agenda: Promote media as a growth driver through strategic planning and impactful initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with regional marketing teams, global teams and external partners to align media strategies, share best practices and support execution excellence.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in global media management, with a strong understanding of media strategy, planning, and technology platforms.
- Skilled in navigating matrix organizations, promoting collaboration across teams and regions.
- Strong internal and external networking skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of commerce and retail media strategies and their integration into broader media frameworks.
- Experience in agency management, including defining scope and assessing performance.
- Strategic and results-oriented, balancing vision with practical execution.
