About the Role
The role of Team Leader - Papermaking is to focus on the skill development of shift operators – aligning the training work you are coordinating to the skills versatility matrix. You will attend and be involved in DDS meetings and ensuring your operator training programme aligns to the demands on the paper machine.

What You Will Do
As Team Leader you will be responsible for delivering solutions to meeting the skills training and development expectations and requirement for each shift in the papermaking environment. This will involve assessing skill levels, developing SOPS, Risk Assessments, standards and other documentation, building relevant training timeframes and programmes, delivering and co-ordinating required training, coaching the operators successfully and updating records accordingly. This is a shift based role (4 on 6 off shift pattern).
Who You Are
You will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar industry (FMCG) operating at a Team Leader level
- Proven team leadership experience with accountability for people management and development, safety and quality
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of continuous improvement methodologies (eg: root cause analysis, LEAN, 5S TPM)
- A forward thinker, you thrive on resolving problems and can create and maintain an environment of learning and skill development in a busy production environment
- You will have great interpersonal skills - be an effective communicator, and active listener, and able to give constructive feedback in an engaging manner
- You will have proven experience of delivering successfully in a change environment (whether in training or other areas of responsibility)
- Good process knowledge of paper making environment.
