As Site Services Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our building infrastructure, electrical systems, and fire protection arrangements meet all compliance and performance requirements. Based at our Prudhoe manufacturing site, you will lead a team of facilities technicians, ensuring the site's utilities and infrastructure are operated and maintained to the highest standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support operational efficiency, asset reliability, and continuous improvement across the site.
What You Will Do
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and coach a team of technicians, enabling skill growth, inclusive collaboration, and a culture that celebrates success.
- Engineering & Resource Management: Oversee engineering resources to support reliable operations and maximise production efficiency.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Apply appropriate maintenance strategies to minimise unplanned stops and ensure the resilience of site utilities and infrastructure.
- Compliance & Standards Management: Ensure legislative, regulatory, and company requirements are met for electrical systems, fire protection, utilities, and building compliance.
- Technical Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate technical records and ensure site drawings are updated in line with required standards.
- Utilities Availability: Ensure continuous and compliant provision of all utilities, including electricity, gas, air, and water, to support site operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other site teams to support cost-saving initiatives and maintain environmental and quality standards aligned with ISO and ISO.
- Budget & Contract Management: Manage budgets and maintenance contracts to agreed levels, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Champion Health & Safety across the department and wider organisation, promoting a proactive safety culture.
Who You Are
- Educated to HNC level in Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in engineering, facilities management, or building services within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong technical understanding of utilities, infrastructure, or statutory compliance related to electrical or fire protection systems.
- A collaborative communicator with strong leadership, coaching, motivation, and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
- HV Authorised Person status is desirable but not essential.
