As eCommerce Account Manager (Amazon), you will own the end‐to‐end performance of online customer accounts, driving sales growth and profitability through digital shelf optimisation, data‐led decision making, and effective execution of pricing, promotions, and media.
About the Role
The eCommerce (Amazon) Account Manager is the end-to-end commercial owner of online customer accounts, responsible for translating brand and channel strategy into digital-first joint business plans that drive online sales growth, visibility, and profitability. The role focuses on optimising the digital shelf, promotional effectiveness, improving operational compliance and media activation, while ensuring strong collaboration with customers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class eCommerce execution.
What You Will Do
- Own and deliver eCommerce joint business plans, including revenue, margin, pricing, promotions, and media investment.
- Lead online commercial negotiations and manage trade terms to drive profitable growth.
- Take full accountability for account P&L performance.
- Drive digital shelf excellence (content, availability, visibility) across platforms.
- Use data and analytics (conversion, ROAS, traffic) to optimise performance and investment decisions.
- Plan and execute promotions, retail media, and key trading events.
- Build strong customer and cross-functional partnerships to ensure best-in-class execution.
- Manage day-to-day Vendor Central operations.
- Drive operational compliance to reduce operational issues such as shortages and chargebacks.
Who You Are
- Experience: You will have proven experience working with Amazon in a commercial capacity for minimum 2 years with a strong working knowledge of Vendor Central.
- Customer Engagement: You will build trust and rapport with buyers through responsive, day-to-day interaction and strong issue resolution.
- Execution: Ensuring that pricing, promotions, and service levels land as planned across the shelf and supply chain with a focus on reducing operational issues.
- Negotiation Skills: Securing tactical wins in trade terms and dispute resolution with a focus on protecting margin.
- Flexibility & Responsiveness: Thriving in dynamic retail environments with agility and proactive follow-up.
- Growth Mindset: Driving account growth by spotting opportunities within existing relationships and coordinating execution across functions.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs (conversion, ROAS, traffic, AOV).
- Experience with digital shelf tools and analytics platforms.
- Commercial acumen with P&L ownership mindset.
- Strong negotiation skills in a digital retail context.
