About the Role

As a Wound Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and growing Essity’s chronic wound-care portfolio across a defined territory covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Northamptonshire, Cambridge/Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This is a predominantly field-based role where you will work closely with community healthcare professionals, providing product education, building long-term partnerships, and identifying opportunities to expand the use of Essity’s wound-care solutions. You will play an important role in supporting healthcare professionals with solutions that help improve patient care while contributing to sustainable business growth. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will collaborate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience and create value for customers across your territory.

What You Will Do

  • Territory Management: Develop and execute plans to grow and manage assigned accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to increase portfolio adoption through cross-selling, up-selling, and customer pathway development.
  • Customer Education: Deliver engaging product demonstrations, clinical training sessions, and educational presentations to healthcare professionals.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with district nurses, practice nurses, GP practices, and other key stakeholders.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Conduct customer discussions and negotiate agreements that create value for both customers and Essity.
  • Customer Support: Address customer needs and queries, including commercial, logistical, and clinical topics, to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and maintain accurate sales and account records.

Who You Are

  • A degree in a science-related discipline is advantageous, although equivalent knowledge or experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in sales, healthcare sales, medical sales, clinical practice, or another customer-facing commercial environment where relationship management and business development have been key responsibilities.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical or clinical product information confidently to healthcare professionals and customers.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, consultative selling, presentation, organisation, adaptability, and customer-focused skills, with the ability to work independently across a broad territory.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region are essential.
