The E-commerce Content Associate Manager, Benelux will be responsible for driving best-in-class digital shelf execution and content excellence across key e-commerce and retail media channels within the Benelux region.

This role will act as the local market lead for e-commerce content activation, digital shelf optimisation and product content syndication, ensuring that online shoppers experience accurate, engaging and conversion-focused product content across all key retail partners.

About The Role

Working closely with Global E-commerce, Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory and external agencies, the successful candidate will manage content localisation, digital asset coordination, content distribution and digital shelf performance, helping to accelerate online growth and improve the consumer experience across the region.

In this role you will report to the Global E-Commerce Media & Content Lead.

What You Will Do

  • Own the end-to-end e Commerce content process, from briefing and creation through to upload, publication and ongoing optimisation.
  • Develop clear content briefs for internal teams and external agencies, ensuring alignment with brand, regulatory and commercial requirements.
  • Manage product content creation including copy, imagery, A+ content and enriched assets.
  • Own and manage product content within Salsify (or equivalent, PIM/DAM platform).
  • Ensure all product data, copy and digital assets are accurate, compliant and complete across channels.
  • Manage content uploads, updates and maintenance across retailer platforms and marketplaces.
  • Lead content syndication to key retailers and marketplace partners via Salsify or other content distribution tools.
  • Monitor publication status, troubleshoot issues and ensure content goes live as expected.
  • Maintain consistent product catalogues, taxonomy and content standards across all channels.
  • Track and optimise digital shelf performance, including content completeness, share of search and conversion drivers.
  • Use tools such as Profitero, e Store or similar to generate actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility, organic performance and conversion through content enhancements.
  • Conduct regular content audits and competitor benchmarking.
  • Support SEO optimisation and ensure alignment with retail media and commercial priorities.
  • Manage external content agencies, ensuring quality output, clear timelines and efficient delivery.
  • Act as a key point of contact across Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory and Global teams.
  • Coordinate content approval workflows, ensuring timely reviews and compliance requirements are met.
  • Drive efficient ways of working and continuous improvement in content processes.
  • Track and report key e Commerce content and digital shelf KPIs.
  • Build regular performance dashboards and business updates.
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations to improve content effectiveness and business performance.
  • Support annual planning and market growth initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in e Commerce content management, digital content or marketplace operations
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end content processes (briefing, creation, upload, syndication, optimisation)
  • Hands-on experience with Salsify or similar content management / PIM platforms (essential)
  • Experience managing product detail pages (PDPs), A+ content and digital shelf optimisation
  • Familiarity with digital shelf analytics tools (e. g. Profitero, e Store or similar)
  • Experience working with digital asset management systems (e. g. Media Bank or similar) including asset organisation, tagging and distribution
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (or similar tools) to review, adapt or validate content assets
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple content workflows, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proven ability to structure processes, prioritise effectively and ensure on-time delivery across complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (both required)
