About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts across a designated territory (either Midlands / East Anglia or London / South East), supporting customers to achieve excellent hygiene outcomes with Essity’s Tork solutions. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with NHS Trusts — one of Essity’s most strategic end customer groups — ensuring consistent product adoption and long term value creation. Alongside this, you will work with private sector customers through our distributor partners, helping them identify the right solutions, expand product usage, and improve hygiene efficiency across a broad customer base.
What You Will Do
- Territory & Account Management: Manage a defined portfolio across NHS Trusts and private sector end customers, ensuring strong product adoption and relationship growth.
- Channel & Distributor Engagement: Collaborate closely with distributor partners to support private sector customers, identify growth opportunities, and drive sales expansion.
- Sales Planning: Develop short and long range sales strategies using available sales and marketing programmes to achieve nominated targets.
- Customer Negotiations: Lead negotiation of plans and conditions with customers to secure sustainable and profitable business.
- Product & Market Expertise: Apply detailed product knowledge and a strong understanding of each client’s business to deliver tailored support.
- Customer Visits & Expansion: Introduce new products and services, organising regular visits with existing and prospective customers to expand Essity’s market presence.
- Service Coordination: Ensure high quality customer service and involve relevant internal colleagues when clients require additional support.
Who You Are
Experience in account management, sales, or business development within a complex customer environment such as healthcare, public sector, B2B, or distribution based sales. Strong product learning agility with the ability to apply technical knowledge in customer conversations. A collaborative communicator with strong relationship building, negotiation, organisation, and problem solving skills.
