Are you looking for a role where your primary focus is on operating safely in a production line manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and standard operating procedures? As a member of the shift team, the Advanced Operator is responsible for the performance of the machine.

What You Will Do

  • An employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy and sustainable work environment.
  • Run the machine and watch the process; if necessary, adjust according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
  • Participate in the DOM.
  • Carry out machine repairs within certain limits.
  • Lead size change-overs, maintenance and other technical activities and organise support from Technical Dept. and RST.
  • Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain adequate communication with previous and next shifts as well as with other persons involved in running the machine.
  • Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation.
  • Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.
  • Complete all required documentation and data files during production.

Your experience and qualification requirements:

  • High School, Technical Diploma or equivalent.
  • +3 years of experience in an operator role in the manufacturing area.
  • Proven experience with operating complex machinery or production equipment and understanding of the operational processes.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving minor technical issues with machines or equipment.
  • Process optimisation experience or involvement in improving production workflows or efficiency.
  • Experience with safety protocols and maintenance procedures for equipment, including calibration, inspections, and cleaning.
