Are you looking for a role where your primary focus is on operating safely in a production line manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and standard operating procedures? As a member of the shift team, the Advanced Operator is responsible for the performance of the machine.
What You Will Do
- An employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy and sustainable work environment.
- Run the machine and watch the process; if necessary, adjust according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
- Participate in the DOM.
- Carry out machine repairs within certain limits.
- Lead size change-overs, maintenance and other technical activities and organise support from Technical Dept. and RST.
- Order and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain adequate communication with previous and next shifts as well as with other persons involved in running the machine.
- Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation.
- Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.
- Complete all required documentation and data files during production.
Your experience and qualification requirements:
- High School, Technical Diploma or equivalent.
- +3 years of experience in an operator role in the manufacturing area.
- Proven experience with operating complex machinery or production equipment and understanding of the operational processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving minor technical issues with machines or equipment.
- Process optimisation experience or involvement in improving production workflows or efficiency.
- Experience with safety protocols and maintenance procedures for equipment, including calibration, inspections, and cleaning.
