The Digital Designer (Motion) is a core production role within the Creative team, responsible for translating campaign and brand briefs into polished, channel‑ready assets across all touchpoints. You will work across the full brand portfolio, owning output for multiple brands simultaneously, and bring a strong technical foundation in motion and animation to a team that is actively expanding its capabilities in this area.
Responsibilities
- Design Execution
- Translate campaign briefs and art direction into high‑quality, channel‑ready creative assets across web, CRM, organic social, paid social, and print.
- Produce assets across the full CL Hub and Value Eyewear brand portfolio, adapting executions to each brand's visual identity and audience.
- Transcreate and adapt assets for multiple EMEA markets, maintaining creative integrity across languages and formats.
- Support both campaign and BAU workstreams, managing shifting priorities without losing quality or attention to detail.
- Animation and Motion
- Lead on animation and motion graphics across the team; this is the primary specialisation we are hiring for.
- Produce animated assets across all relevant channels: looping GIFs, animated display ads, motion graphics for social, and web animations.
- Bring existing static campaigns to life through motion; work with the Senior Creative Lead to define how motion supports brand expression.
- Develop repeatable motion and animation templates that improve team output speed without sacrificing quality.
- Stay current on animation tools and techniques; share knowledge and raise the team's motion capability over time.
- AI‑Augmented Production
- Use AI tools actively in your day‑to‑day workflow, for asset generation, image manipulation, adaptation, and ideation.
- Bring an experimentation mindset: test tools, document what works, share findings with the team.
- Relevant tools include but are not limited to: Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Kling, or equivalent.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with content, CRM, and brand teams to ensure creative assets are fit for purpose across all channels.
- Collaborate with the Senior Creative Lead and Creative Team Manager throughout the briefing, review, and sign‑off process.
- Manage your own workload through the team's project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, or equivalent); be organised, proactive, and transparent about capacity.
- Quality and Consistency
- Ensure all creative output is responsive, accessible, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of craft across all deliverables, including work produced at pace or volume.
What We Expect
This is a delivery role. You will be given clear briefs and strong art direction. Your job is to execute them to an exceptional standard. You should be someone who takes pride in output, takes ownership of your workload, and holds yourself to a high bar without needing to be managed at that level. We also expect you to be curious. AI is not optional here; it is part of how the team works. We are actively evolving our workflows and want someone who sees that as an opportunity, not a constraint. You will be part of a collaborative, fast‑moving team. That means being a good communicator, being proactive when you see problems, and being generous with your expertise, particularly in motion and animation, where you will have an opportunity to genuinely raise the team's capability.
