Vacancy β Caretaker / Cleaner (Part-Time β Permanent)

Location: Rivenhall C of E Primary School, Rivenhall, Witham, Essex
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 17.5 hours per week β Monday to Friday, 7:00β8:00 am and 3:30β6:00 pm (3.5 hours each day)
Pay Scale: Scale 3, Point 5/6

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-standard cleaning, health and safety and general care support to the school environment.
- Work closely with the Vine Trust estates team, the cleaner and the headteacher to maintain premises, classrooms and communal areas.
- Assist with maintenance tasks, handling of cleaning tools and chemicals, and compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Previous caretaking or cleaning experience in a school or similar setting.
- Understanding of cleaning tool handling and chemical use.
- Willingness to learn and comply with health and safety related cleaning processes.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; ability to work closely with school staff.
- A caring, friendly, Christian ethos that values every person and aims to develop full potential.
- Highly motivated children and a supportive staff team.
- SLT and Governors with a clear vision for the future.
