Provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to the school, ensuring the effective delivery of finance processes, educational visits administration, peripatetic music lessons, site lettings, locker allocation and premises administration. Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager, Educational Visits Coordinator, Director of Finance and Estates, and Site and Maintenance Manager to deliver efficient, accurate and customer‑focused support across a range of school services. Each Assistant will take a lead on the majority of responsibilities in a number of areas, while the small team works together to cover all day‑to‑day tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experienced administrator with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Prior experience working in an education environment would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with finance systems, and within finance processes.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, and able to establish rapport and trusting relationships with colleagues, students and parents.
  • Strong work ethic and proactive can‑do attitude.
