For Companies An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Assistant to join our team to support children at lunchtimes. This post will involve working with children in the playground as well as supporting with the meals in the Hall/classroom. On occasions, you may be asked to help in the school kitchen if required.
The successful candidates will be caring, positive and have the ability to use their own initiative and remain calm under pressure. Experience in working with children is essential.

Established in 1845, St. Mary's is a welcoming 1 form entry Church school with a caring ethos. We are situated in the centre of Saffron Walden, a thriving Essex market town close to the Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk borders and within easy travelling distance of both Cambridge and London. We enjoy excellent facilities, occupying a large and attractive site which also accommodates our Church Pre-school and an independent Before/After-school club.
