We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and professional Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and supportive office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with very strong administrative and communication skills who enjoys working in a busy school environment. The successful candidate will provide efficient administrative support to staff, pupils, parents and visitors, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general administrative and clerical support
- Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate pupil records and school database
- Supporting attendance and admissions administration
- Producing letters, school newsletter and documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Welcoming visitors and assisting parents and pupils as required
- Allocation of Nursery sessions, funding forms, completing funding portal
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Must have excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A professional, friendly and flexible approach
- Experience of working in a school environment (desirable)
