Sunnymede Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly organised, reliable and proactive Finance and Personnel Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a thriving school community where your work will directly support the education and wellbeing of our pupils.
You will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day financial and HR operations of the school. Reporting to the School Business Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Processing orders, invoices, and payments
- Maintaining accurate personnel records
- Managing staff absence data
- Assisting the front office as required
- Administering first aid to pupils
- General administrative duties as required
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in finance and/or HR administration (school experience desirable but not essential)
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Is pro-active, can work independently and as part of a team
- Always maintains confidentiality and professionalism
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Has a sense of humour and likes children!
