Clerks fulfil a vital role for the Trust Board, an important source of advice for Trustees on governance matters for which training (if needed) will be provided.
The Trust Board, through its appointed and elected Trustees, plays a distinctive and essential role in the continuing success and development of the school.
The Clerk's job is to work with the Chair and other Trustees, dealing with administrative matters for the Trust Board.
Central to this role is preparing for, taking notes at and producing minutes for meetings.
Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
