Vacancy for a Receptionist and Administration Assistant Scale 3 within the range of points 5 to 6 (FTE £25,583 to £25,989) Actual annual salary £8,673 to £8,810
Working hours - 15 hours per week 08:00am to 11:00am Monday to Friday during 38 weeks of term time.
We are looking for a friendly and efficient person to join us in our school office to act as the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the school, and to provide support for pupils, parents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a receptionist service for the school - managing telephone, email and face to face enquiries and welcoming visitors to the school;
- Providing medical and welfare support to pupils, including the administration of first aid;
- Operating the school's procedures for managing daily attendance and absence;
Experience of working in a busy office environment would be helpful, together with the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with pupils and parents and to manage competing priorities.
