St Teresa's Catholic Primary School and Nursery is seeking to appoint a warm, professional and highly organised Front of House Administrator to join our administration team. The start date will be 1st September 2026. The hours will be 7.5 hours per week worked over Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings - 8.30 - 11am. This is a fixed term position for 1 year. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents and pupils, this role is central to the life of our school. We believe parents are the first educators of their children and place great importance on building positive relationships with our families. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring every visitor receives a friendly welcome and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities- Reception and front office duties
- Responding to telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries
- Supporting attendance administration and maintaining registers
- Coordinating administration of clubs and school trips
- Processing post and parent correspondence and school communications
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Providing general administrative support to the school office
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be organised, efficient and able to prioritise workload
- Work calmly and professionally in a busy environment
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Support the Catholic ethos and values of the school
Experience of school administration would be advantageous, particularly knowledge of Arbor, ParentPay, Seesaw, CPOMS and Microsoft Office 365. Whilst experience in every aspect of the role is not essential, we are looking for someone with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn. Training and support will be provided.
