The Castle View School is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Manager to provide confidential support, advice and guidance to senior leaders, managers and staff. Working closely with the Trust Director of HR, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service and supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to retirement.
As HR Manager, you will lead on the day-to-day delivery of HR across the school, ensuring all personnel records and systems are accurate, compliant and efficiently maintained. You will oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including safer recruitment checks, and maintain the Single Central Register in line with statutory requirements. You will act as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance and support to managers, and contributing to effective employee relations and performance processes. Working collaboratively with senior leaders, you will help foster a positive and inclusive working environment where staff wellbeing is a key priority. You will work closely with the Trust HR Director and a wider HR network across our schools, contributing to a strong and collaborative HR function. We place staff wellbeing at the heart of everything we do, and you will play a key role in supporting and promoting a positive working environment.
About You
- Has experience working in an HR or personnel role, ideally within education
- Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Can manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has a good understanding of HR processes, employment procedures and data confidentiality
- Is confident using HR systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
- Builds positive and effective working relationships across all levels
