Ravens Academy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of our school kitchen. This is a temporary maternity cover position and is an excellent opportunity for someone with catering experience who enjoys working in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
- Preparing and serving healthy, balanced meals in line with School Food Standards
- Managing food orders, stock control and kitchen budgets
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, allergen and health & safety regulations
- Leading and supporting two catering assistants
- Promoting healthy eating and encouraging pupils to enjoy school meals
Qualifications
- Experience working in a catering environment
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong organisational and supervisory skills
- Enthusiastic about providing high-quality food for children
- Works well as part of a team in a busy school environment
