The predicted salary is between 31799 - 32800 £ per year.

Attendance Lead

Position for 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days.

Salary Scale 8, Point 25 (Range 25-28).

Starting salary £31,799 (pay rise pending).

Salary includes paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods.

Berlesduna Academy Trust is looking for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Attendance Lead to drive attendance improvement across our family of primary schools.

This is not a traditional attendance role; you will combine strong analytical skills with excellent relationship building, coaching and leadership to drive sustainable improvement across multiple schools.

About the Role

You will shape and deliver our Trust-wide attendance strategy, working collaboratively with school leaders, pastoral teams and families to ensure every child has the best possible opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience of attendance improvement within education.
  • Excellent understanding of attendance legislation and statutory guidance.
  • Can confidently analyse complex attendance data and translate this into practical improvement strategies.
  • Experience of coaching, influencing and supporting school leaders and attendance/pastoral teams.
  • Builds positive relationships while providing appropriate challenge where required.
  • Understanding barriers faced by vulnerable children and families, and can develop effective interventions.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage priorities across multiple schools.
  • Excellent communication skills and is committed to improving outcomes for children.
