We have an exciting opportunity for a Membership Growth Manager to join Essex Wildlife Trust.
Responsibilities
- Develop effective recruitment and retention strategies.
- Manage the Membership Team, a team of volunteers, and act as a link to our membership recruiters and visitor centre teams.
- Be proficient in both creative, marketing-led elements of the role and in data, insights and processes.
- Be accountable for regulatory and legal processes, ensuring efficient financial administration and accurate CRM database management.
- Work in close partnership with colleagues and suppliers to evolve and improve all aspects of membership while meeting member needs and making members feel valued.
- Inspire new audiences to support our work to make a wilder Essex.
- Lead a team to nurture the existing supporter base and drive growth.
About the Role
It’s an exciting time to join Essex Wildlife Trust. We have a strong supporter base of 39,000 members and need someone who can lead a team to nurture these valuable relationships and drive growth.

- Ability to manage regulatory and legal processes, financial administration, and CRM database management.
Role Details
This is a permanent role. The hours of work are 37.5 per week, with a starting salary of £35,689.50 per annum. The base of work will be Abbotts Hall, Great Wigborough.
