We are looking for a 14 hour part time Centre Assistant to join us on a permanent position at our idyllic Nature Discovery Centre at Ingrebourne. Ingrebourne Nature Discovery Centre provides much-needed community facilities and education opportunities to Hornchurch Country Park.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers in both retail and food and beverage areas, operating tills
  • Prepare drinks using the barista machine
  • Cook and assist in events
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment and restock shelves
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging visitors in a welcoming and professional way
  • Work closely with dedicated staff and volunteers to support the Trust’s mission

Qualifications

We are looking for a friendly individual with an interest in customer service to join Essex Wildlife Trust in this visitor engagement role. The position is permanent, working 14 hours per week between Monday and Sunday on a rota basis to include weekend and bank holiday working.
