About the role
We have an opportunity for a Weekend Centre Assistant to join our friendly and passionate team at our nature discovery park in Thameside, Thurrock.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers in both retail and food and beverage areas, operating tills, and preparing drinks using the barista machine.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment and restock shelves.
- Work closely with our dedicated volunteers to support the Trust’s mission.
- Engage in a welcoming and professional way with our visitors - ensuring excellent customer service is always at the forefront.
All revenue generated from our visitor centres directly funds vital conservation work across our reserves in Essex.
Working hours & remuneration
The position is a permanent role, working 15 hours per week – 7.5 hours on Saturday and 7.5 hours on Sunday. The hourly rate is £13.08.
