We are looking for an Assistant Centre Manager to join us at our idyllic Nature Discovery Centre at Thorndon, in Brentwood. Thorndon Nature Discovery Centre is situated in Thorndon Country Park and offers a variety of habitats including ancient woodland, parkland, ponds, a marsh, and meadow. The site features remarkable ancient trees such as Giant Oak and Hornbeam pollards, and is part of a historic deer park. The park is currently being restored, with goats and sheep grazing on both the north and south sides.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Site Manager, the Assistant Centre Manager will deliver day‑to‑day operations, including administrative duties, retail and food.
