We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Centre Assistant to join us at our Nature Discovery Centre at Hanningfield Reservoir. This is a fixed‑term opportunity to help during our busy summer season. Opened in 2012 and situated on the 11th largest reservoir in England, our Nature Discovery Centre at Hanningfield Reservoir is located between Chelmsford, Billericay and Wickford.

Job Details

  • Fixed‑term role (16 weeks)
  • 15 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota including weekends, bank holidays and events
  • Hourly rate £13.08 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers in retail and food & beverage areas, operating tills.
  • Prepare drinks and food and assist in events.
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment.
  • Restock shelves.
  • Engage visitors in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
