We are looking for a 14 hour part time Centre Assistant to join us on a permanent position at our idyllic Nature Discovery Centre at Ingrebourne.
Role OverviewIngrebourne Nature Discovery Centre provides much-needed community facilities and education opportunities to Hornchurch Country Park; a well used and much loved open space, of great importance to people and wildlife. As a Centre Assistant, the role will include serving customers in both retail and food and beverage areas, operating tills, preparing drinks using the barista machine, cooking and assisting in events.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organised environment and restock shelves.
- Work closely with dedicated staff and volunteers, supporting the Trust’s mission.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a welcoming and professional manner.
The position is permanent, working 14 hours per week between Monday and Sunday on a rota basis to include weekend and bank holiday working. The rate of pay is £13.08 per hour.
