As a police officer, you’ll receive a starting salary of £32,907 (including £3,000 South East allowance) with annual incremental raises up to £51,231 within seven years, along with other benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
- Commencement date: 1 September 2025.
- Be over 18 (you can apply at 17 and begin at 18); no upper age limit.
- Be a British citizen, an EC/EEA national, a Commonwealth citizen, or a foreign national with no restrictions on stay in the United Kingdom, and have lived continuously in the UK for the last three years.
- Be in good health, including fitness and eyesight.
- Have no criminal record (some offences may be considered).
- Have obtained a level 3 qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant experience or training equivalent to a level 3 qualification.
