Do you want to help and make a real difference to the communities of Essex?
As a PCSO, you\’ll work closely with communities to promote safety and confidence. You will collaborate with police officers, special constables, and partner agencies to gather information and intelligence on criminal activity and vulnerabilities within the communities you serve.
Joining Essex Police as a PCSO, you\’ll receive a starting salary of £26,106, with annual increments up to £31,293. The full-time contract includes a 37-hour workweek, with a 6 on 3 off shift pattern covering early and late shifts from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. A 12.5% shift allowance and weekend working enhancements are payable.
During the recruitment process, necessary vetting and security clearances will be required, with further information provided at that time.
