An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of a full time Mechanical & Electrical Engineer within the Estate & Facilities Services Department based at Kent Police Headquarters, Maidstone.

This is a challenging role that requires you to be able to triage and analyze problems, make key decisions, ensuring statutory compliance, project management and financial control. Health and safety experience would be essential in this role.

You will work closely in support of the Mechanical & Electrical Services Manager and the Estate Services & Facilities Services team as well as our operational colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a building services environment and be flexible in their working as there is a requirement to work in different locations across the county.

Applicants will need to provide evidence of their professional qualifications, membership of the relevant professional bodies and similar work experience. This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their wide experience to the Estate & Facilities Services Department.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of ÂŁ56,889.00.
