Overview

Contact Handlers play a key role in the front line response for members of the public. As a 999/101 Contact Handler, based at the Force Control Room in Maidstone, you will help to provide first class service to the people of Kent, answering emergency and non-emergency calls and making decisions to determine the most appropriate response.

Location

Coldharbour Police Station. This is based in Aylesford, just off Junction 5 of the M20. If you do not have a driving license, we recommend checking public transport as this is very limited early morning and late nights.

Training

Training will last 11 weeks and is a mix of classroom-based learning and working within the live environment, all of which will take place at our Force Control Room at Coldharbour. However, should this change you will be notified as soon as possible.
