The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

PMHS are pleased to offer a 1 year Fixed Term contract for a 0.5wte Band 7 post. PMHS consists of five perinatal hubs across Essex, with a staff mix comprising of Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology and specialist roles such as nursery nursing, social work and OT. PMHS works with a range of services to support a mother\’s emotional wellbeing including maternity and health visiting, primary and secondary care mental health services. PMHS aims to provide streamlined, timely and effective care for mothers and birthing people in the perinatal period. This post will be in North East Locality (Colchester and Coastal Towns)., Pregnancy and the transition to parenthood are recognized as a time when mental health difficulties and relationship stress can occur. Experience of preexisting trauma as well as trauma during the perinatal period can have a significant impact on the experience of becoming a parent. Psychological interventions which are specific, effective, and valued by women can support them with such difficulties. This role will support the delivery of specialist psychological consultation and assessment as well evidence based trauma focused interventions such as TF-CBT and EMDR. The role also requires MDT attendance, contributing to the decision making and thinking for perinatal careplanning.
