Our dedicated Local School Board is looking for a volunteer to join their team.

The most important qualities for any of our governors is their commitment to the welfare and achievement of children, their selfless giving of time and their desire to make a positive contribution. As many of the duties of the governing body are statutory or have a legal framework, our governors need to be able to think strategically, challenge, monitor and provide support.
We kindly ask for your attendance at four LSB meetings a year. Preparation for meetings includes reading papers and preparing questions for senior leaders. Additionally, you will be asked to undertake a minimum of three school monitoring visits a year. The term of office is 4 years. It is an expectation that you would be willing to undertake any training required to enable you to discharge your role effectively.
