Raindrops Day Nursery Limited is expanding and is looking for staff to complement the existing team. We are seeking motivated qualified practitioners with a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification. Positions are for full-time, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
Raindrops Day Nursery is looking for individuals who:
- Have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special and loved.
- Can distribute warm hugs as required.
- Preferably do not have an aversion to an environment that at times resembles the aftermath of a tornado.
You must have the ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate clearly and successfully with both children and adults. In addition, you must have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, a strong understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider Legislative requirements for working with children. The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents is essential.

Raindrops Day Nursery has been open since 2006 and is a 4x OFSTED Outstanding Nursery. It is currently a 64 place day nursery, registered to take children from Birth to 5 years. Our Nursery is a caring, safe, and stimulating environment that caters for all children and families regardless of their personal circumstances or background. We strive to support the family as a whole, understanding that children will flourish and thrive when the needs of the whole family are met and supported.
We offer a broad curriculum across all of the base rooms, and each child and family has an allocated Keyperson. All families are welcome to use the nursery. We offer 2-year-old and 3-4-year-old funding, enabling parents to access excellent quality childcare that is affordable for all. Our children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are given every opportunity to excel to the best of their ability, and staff work alongside the child's professionals to ensure that strategies and outcomes are in place to support the development of the individual child.
