Essex Law are seeking a Legal Data Administrator to work with our friendly team. This role requires total data accuracy, secure information workflows, and seamless digital file management to support lawyers and other fee earners within the firm.
Core Responsibilities
- Lawfusion Database Management: Daily data input, indexing, and workflow updates within the Lawfusion PMS, ensuring all client and matter details are accurately recorded.
- Workflow Optimisation: Maintain and configure automated workflows, templates, and document generation tools to streamline administrative processes for fee earners.
- Data Migration & Integration: Manage the import and export of bulk data sets into the PMS, ensuring clean integration with Microsoft Office and accounting modules.
- Compliance & Conflict Checks: Conduct meticulous anti-money laundering (AML) and conflict-of-interest checks directly through the PMS integrated risk management tools.
- Reporting & Analytics: Utilise system reporting module to generate weekly and monthly KPIs and matter progression summaries for management.
Required Skills & Experience
- Lawfusion Expertise: Demonstrable hands-on experience navigating and configuring the Lawfusion (Select Legal Systems) platform is preferred but other experience considered. Training will be given.
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, formatting, and preparing migration sheets.
- Data Integrity Focus: Exceptional attention to detail with an uncompromising approach to data quality, security, and UK GDPR compliance.

The role is based in Clacton on Sea, Essex, with our offices easily accessible from Chelmsford, Colchester, and surrounding areas.
