Job Role: Facilities and Logistics Team Leader at Kent Police Headquarters, Sutton Road, Maidstone. This full‑time role oversees the day‑to‑day function of the Facilities team at Sutton Road and other locations. The leader will guide a small team of Facilities staff, ensuring smooth operational flow, a safe and efficient working environment, and adherence to general health & safety knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reactive maintenance call‑outs and coordinate with contractors who handle medium to high‑level work.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
- Improve processes, balance leadership with operational delivery, and maintain safety and compliance of Facilities staff.
- Communicate with various people across the business and liaise with them daily.
- Utilise office software and other tools to support day‑to‑day operations.
- Ensure Facilities staff are safe, compliant, and provide high‑level service to operational colleagues and staff.
Benefits:
Salary will rise to a maximum of £35,802.00 over time, with incremental increases within the salary band.
