An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kent Police's Corporate Communications team as a Recruitment Marketing Officer on a fixed term contract for one year to cover maternity. We are looking for a motivated and creative marketing professional to help attract talented people to careers and volunteering opportunities within Kent Police. You will support recruitment campaigns for police officers, special constables, volunteers and staff roles, helping to promote Kent Police as an employer of choice.
Working as part of the Internal Communications, Marketing and Engagement team, you will create compelling content and marketing materials across a range of channels, including digital, social media and print. You will support the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, monitor performance and provide insight to help improve results.
The role also includes supporting engagement and outreach activity where required. Working closely with colleagues across the force and external partners, you will help deliver campaigns and events that strengthen Kent Police's reputation, support workforce priorities and encourage greater engagement with our communities.
You will need strong communication and storytelling skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience of recruitment marketing is desirable, although applications are welcomed from candidates with broader marketing and communications experience.

- Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers.
- Relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related subject.
This role is primarily home-based working with some days each week at the Kent Police Headquarters, Maidstone, and travelling to other locations as and when required.
Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of Β£49,167.00.
