Work as part of the highway maintenance operational team. Manage and direct a small traffic management team. Carry out and take responsibility for installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment on low-speed roads. Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic signals such as two-way and multi-phase traffic control, ensuring units are installed correctly and batteries are fully charged. Collect traffic management from sites once projects have been completed.

Previous experience of delivering highway maintenance traffic management on site. Hold a current, valid driving licence; LGV class 2 desirable. Able to carry out basic safety, quality, and environmental audits and risk assessments. Take responsibility for traffic management, holding NHSS 12 A/B Traffic Management training. Good understanding of health and safety and its impact on the workplace.
