Join our Driver Improvement Team, delivering NDORS educational courses as an alternative to prosecution. Reporting to the Senior Monitor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing course quality, working closely with the booking office and supporting a consistent, high-standard learning experience. As Trainer Co‑ordinator, you’ll oversee the quality, compliance, and development of a growing team of trainers, combining coaching, monitoring, and coordination. The role includes flexible working—both remotely and across Essex, Southend, and Thurrock—along with occasional evenings and weekends. You’ll also collaborate with partners to support road safety initiatives and contribute to the development of engaging, industry‑compliant courses aligned with our Vision Zero ambition.
Responsibilities
- Monitor trainer performance, providing feedback and support to ensure high‑quality, compliant course delivery.
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of training materials, processes, and road safety initiatives.
- Deliver NDORS courses (online and in‑venue), using effective coaching techniques to maximise learner engagement and outcomes.
- Coordinate administrative activities, including trainer communications, scheduling, record‑keeping, and reporting for audits.
- Manage workload, risks (including Health & Safety and business continuity), and support the smooth operation of courses across the team.
Qualifications
- UKROEd Trainer Licence
- ADI Licence (Minimum of 1 year held)
- Proven experience as a driver trainer or coach.
- Full Driving Licence
- Proficient in the use of Zoom
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Must have use of own vehicle (under 7 years old)
