About The Role
Brentwood Borough Council is seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor to join our external partner team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of £47,156 – £51,364 per annum, plus a Market Supplement of £8,000 per annum (reviewed after 12 months).

Role Overview

You will manage a variety of building control projects, including large housing and commercial developments, and foster relationships with architects, developers, and clients.

Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Building Surveying or similar discipline
- Corporate membership of MRICS, MCABE, or MCIOB
- Registered at Class 2 or 3 with the Building Safety Regulator
- Proven experience in Building Control legislation and enforcement
- Excellent communication skills
- Registered building inspector with the Building Safety Regulator, minimum class 2 category A
