Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Uttlesford District Council in recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative on a temporary basis. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will join a dedicated team in maintaining and improving public spaces and scenery in the Borough.
Responsibilities:
- Grass Cutting
- Hedge Trimming
- Litter Picking
- Edging and Spraying
- Following Health & Safety policies
Essential Experience:
- A good level of English, reading and writing
- Full UK Licence with experience in driving a 3.5t vehicle
Desirable Experience:
- Working in outside spaces
- Chemical applications
- Working with horticultural tools such as chain saws and ride-on mowers
Full training and the opportunity for further learning will be provided for the right candidate.
