Basildon Borough Council is supporting Basildon Council in recruiting for the role of Interim Executive Director – Strategy, People & Transformation. This is a temporary, full-time position for an initial six months. The role requires presence at the Basildon Council office at least three days per week. We seek an exceptional interim leader to serve as Executive Director of Strategy, People & Transformation. This role offers a key opportunity to shape strategic ambitions, lead transformation, and prepare our workforce for the future, especially in the context of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). The role will provide transformational leadership and service integration across key areas, including:
