Essex County Council is hiring a Recycling Centre Site Operative to support multiple Essex recycling centres on an annualised hours contract. The base site is Dovercourt, with travel within a 20-mile radius as needed. Driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, or mobility alternatives must be available.
You will assist the public, maintain a safe site, supervise waste movements, operate plant machinery, and support team admin tasks. Centres operate seven days a week.
