The predicted salary is between 38220 - 41771 £ per year.
You'll work across a broad range of Environmental Health functions, with a focus on:
- Public Health, Statutory Nuisance and Environmental Protection
- Private Sector Housing
Your day-to-day work will be varied and hands-on, including:
- Investigating noise, smoke, light and other nuisance complaints
- Dealing with vermin, accumulations and other public health issues
- Inspecting private rented properties and HMOs and dealing with complaints
- Supporting residents and businesses to resolve issues
You’ll also have opportunities to gain experience in other areas such as food safety, health and safety, animal welfare and special treatment licensing/registrations.
We are proud of our track record in developing staff through training and development and supporting career progression. Several of our Technical Officers have gone on to complete BSc/MSc qualifications and become fully qualified Environmental Health Officers.
