Overview

In this role you lead Family Support and Protection services to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

You will guide cross‑agency collaboration, shape practice direction, and ensure high-quality, relationship‑based social work.

The position includes responsibility for the Mid Essex Family Centre and a multi‑disciplinary team delivering intensive family support.

You help drive innovation in practice while aligning with council priorities and safeguarding obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational planning and performance reviews to meet council priorities
